Report: Tekashi 6ix9ine Just Signed a $10 Million Deal With Former Label

The deal with his former label, 10K Projects, will reportedly cover two albums--one in English and one in Spanish.

It seems all is not lost for Tekashi 6ix9ine. TMZ has reported that the 23-year old rapper, born Daniel Hernandez, has reunited with his former record label, 10K Projects.  According to the publication, the deal is worth more than $10 million. If he receives a light sentence in December, 6ix9ine will reportedly record an album in Spanish as part of the contract.

Tekashi's racketeering charges carried a potential sentence of 32 years up to life in prison. He agreed to cooperate and testified against his former manager and others in his July 2018 kidnapping. The former associates claim the incident was a publicity stunt. According to reports, in the best-case-scenario, Tekashi could be released sometime in the next year with time served.

The former manager, Kifano "Shotti" Jordan, has already been convicted and sentenced to 15 years in prison. The former associates, Anthony "Harv" Ellison and Aljermiah "Nuke" Mack, were found guilty on related charges last week.

Tekashi's sentencing will take place on December 18.
