Teddy Riley has announced a beat battle rematch with Babyface.
Taking to his Instagram today (see below,) the New Jack architect revealed the r&b uncles are ready to spar with live-stream technology once more. They’ll square up at 8pm on Monday, April 20th, presumably holding to the original format of 20 songs per producer. The stream will be available on each artist’s Instagram Live, as well as Swizz Beatz and Timbaland’s VERZUZ platform, which is presenting the event. Hopefully, someone will have taught Teddy how to run an iRig by then. Last night’s first run was halted within an hour due to a glitchy setup on Riley’s end. But it did make for some damn-good commentary on Twitter.
Tune in at 8pm tomorrow night to see the beat battle rematch between Babyface and Teddy Riley.
