"Something Real" is Walker's first release after winning "Best New Artist" at the 2019 BET Soul Train Awards.

Following the release of her debut album Over It, Summer Walker unveils a new single "Something Real" featuring Chris Brown and London on da Track. The soulful new track comes after Summer won "Best New Artist" at the recent 2019 BET Soul Train Awards.

Additionally, Walker's Over It debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart in early October. It has stayed in the Top 5 since its release. The project is notably the largest streamed R&B album by a woman ever.

At the moment, she is wrapping up her First and Last tour, it started last month in the UK and has seen her perform in Houston, Los Angeles and more. Walker recently cancelled a number of tour dates noting concerns of her social anxiety and mental health.
