Sheck Wes‘s highly anticipated debut album, MUDBOY was just released.
The 20-year-old, Senegalese-American, Harlem-based rapper released the album through Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack Records. The 14-track project includes his viral song, “Mo Bamba,” as well as his other popular tracks, “Live Sheck Wes,” and “Chippi Chippi.”
The Sheck Wes sound is recognized for his bumping baselines, declarative bars, and high-octane chant-like flows.
The rapper/athlete keeps the basketball motif alive and well on this project, with tracks like “Kyrie,” “WESPN.”
The professional model also nods to the high-fashion world with the song “Vetements Socks.”
