Sango held on to the remix for a year until he could get the blessing from T3 of Slum Village.

On Wednesday, Michigan-via-Seattle producer Sango released a special remix for fans of J Dilla. The track, originally produced over a year ago, is a house-inspired flip of Dilla's 2006 track "Won't Do." Sango got permission from T3 of Slum Village to release the track today. "Here's the story," Sango wrote on Instagram. "I got the green light from @t3slum to drop this remix. I waited one year, but we here! I used the original stems to remix this, which is very wild to me. I wanna say thanks to (you know who you are) for connecting me and blessing me with those. It's an honor to be able to pay homage to the king."
