El-P and Killer Mike’s upcoming project RTJ4 is reportedly on the way.

Run The Jewels has released a new song “The Yankee and the Brave” off their highly anticipated project RTJ4.

El-P, one half of the duo alongside Killer Mike took to Twitter to share a few details on the project. “i should have said it louder sorry HERES A SONG OFF #RTJ4 THANK YOU FOR BEING SO PATIENT WE HOPE IT BRINGS YOU A LITTLE JOY.”

Titled the “jump street corona edition,” El-P explains on Instagram that the track dropped to hold down their fans during these “strange times.” Complex shares that Run The Jewels was slated to open for Rage Against the Machine for their world tour, it was set to begin next week. At the moment, the entire tour has reportedly been postponed due to state government restrictions that have been placed on public gatherings.  No new dates have been announced.

Back in November, the producer confirmed that RTJ4 would be arriving early in 2020. He also shared that it consisted of 11 tracks long and was also under 40 minutes. Another good sign that arrived before 2019 ended was El-P letting fans know that he and Killer Mike had been working out of Mike Rubin’s Shangri-La Studio in Malibu, CA.

RTJ4 will be free upon its release and will drop on popular streaming platforms. Over on Twitter El-P also shared a few more details on the project. He wrote, “this is for anyone who doesn’t feel like they have a budget for music right now or for anyone who isn’t sure they fuck with us yet.”
