Rockstar Games is finally gearing up to drop the soundtrack to its latest blockbuster release. According to Pitchfork, the Red Dead Redemption 2 soundtrack will arrive on July 12th via Lakeshore Records.
The album is produced by Daniel Lanois — of Bob Dylan’s Oh Mercy and U2’s The Unforgettable Fire — and features contributions from Willie Nelson, Queens of Stone Age’s Josh Homme, and D’Angelo, whose new song “Unshaken” sits at the top of the tracklist as his first release since 2014’s Black Messiah. Rockstar Games and Lakeshore Records will also release the game’s original score, which is composed by Woody Jackson, but a firm release date has yet to be revealed.
