Mia Carucci, Junglepussy, Cupcakke, and Trina offered a Valentine's Day celebration that was centered on the happiness, sensuality, and power of women.

"Letter number one: Your pussy is bomb."

This was one of several love letters Junglepussy offered to the crowd that came to see her, Cupcakke, and Trina perform at The Majestic Downtown in Los Angeles. As a part of the Red Bull LA Music Festival, the event, titled Heartbeats, brought the three talented rappers together as they performed in front of a color-changing interactive heart for a celebration that was centered on the happiness, sensuality, and power of women.

DJ Mia Carucci started off the night playing tracks from women rappers and singers, dropping everything from Cardi B and City Girls to Aaliyah and Bali Baby.

Following Carucci was Junglepussy, who simultaneously DJ'd her own set while performing. The New York City-based artist was well-received by the crowd, performing songs like "Get It Right," "Picky Bitch," "Pop For You," and more. The latter was a standout, as Junglepussy performed the track while holding a poster board saying, "This pussy may pop for you."

"I got so much to give / Sometimes I give it to the wrong niggas / Ungrateful motherfuckers / Soul suckers / Try to take what I got," she rapped, each line growing in intensity. It was one of a handful of notable moments from the show that embodied a sentiment everyone — but especially the women present — could resonate with: knowing your worth and trying not to allow people to take advantage of it.

Before leaving the stage Junglepussy brought out surprise guest Gangsta Boo, the former member of Three 6 Mafia. Junglepussy was just as overjoyed as everyone else, Boo praising the fellow rapper while getting the crowd to chant "Eat pussy, smoke weed," which they did joyously.

To see Cupcakke in high spirits following her suicide scare last month was a highlight of the night. She didn't address the incident but her performance was a response in itself, the Chicago rapper cheerfully offering her sex-positive raps to the audience while energetically moving across the stage.

A part of her set was her new song "Squidward Nose," the hilariously absurd track that uses the Spongebob Squarepants character's nose to make a point about her size preference for a man's genitalia.

"His dick smaller than my toes / I'd rather ride Squidward nose," she rapped, the hook a testament to Cupcakke's comedic-tinged raps.

As the headliner of the night, Trina's performance served as a reminder that the Miami rapper is a pioneer, her unapologetic approach to displaying and rapping about her sexuality providing the blueprint for women rappers who've succeeded her. Taking the stage with two backup dancers, Trina performed an array of songs throughout her two decades-plus career, including "Da Baddest Bitch," "B R Right," "Pull Over," "Long Heels Red Bottoms," "Fuck Boy," and more.

But a highlight of the set was her performance of "Nann Nigga," the Trick Daddy track from his album www.thug.com, which Trina was featured on. "Nann Nigga" served as an introdruction to Trina, the artist such an essential part to the song that it might as well be hers.

Over 20 years later and Trina still delivered her guest verse with the charisma and vigor captured on record but with a more subdued cool. Trina's performance was indicative of the legacy she has created for herself and how she continues to add to it, a fitting end to a night that celebrated the idea of love in more ways than one.
