Ravyn Lenae Goes For ‘50s Cinematic Flair In Andre Muir-Directed “4 Leaf Clover” Video
Ravyn Lenae unveils her Andre-Muir-directed, ‘50s-inspired, boy-next-door escapade, “4 Leaf Clover,” which stems from her Crush EP.
Crush, the latest EP that dropped from Ravyn Lenae earlier this year, has not left this writer’s personal rotation. “Sticky,” “Computer Luv,” and her latest, “4 Leaf Clover,” a duet with Steve Lacy, have been favorites of mine and I am sure they are with you too. To double down on her recent release, Ravyn dips her charismatic self into director Andre Muir’s ‘50s retro tale that’s as old as time.
In it, the Chicago singer-songwriter pines for the boy next door, but with a twist. Steve Lacy doesn’t appear in the clip, but that doesn’t make this video any less must-watchable. An excellent and honest new addition to the music game, Ravyn Lenae has all the texture, richness, color, sensuality, smarts, spice, and budding growth to not only tell you a story, but to draw you into an experience.
As you can see in the “4 Leaf Clover” video below, the Chicago High School for the Arts graduate is using her God-given abilities to add dimensions and levels to subjects that are relatable to teenagers and grown-ups alike.
