On Friday, Sway held a jam session during Sway in the Morning, featuring a number of incredible MCs and musicians. The session was led by pianist Robert Glasper and included appearances from Rapsody, Lupe Fiasco, Anthony Hamilton and the Hamiltones, Chris Dave, and Fred the Godson.

The Rapsody and Lupe portions of the session, which start at around the 19:10 mark, are truly great. You hear two MCs, who are still clearly cold, just go off.

Rapsody, who is up for two Grammys this year, raps:

“Mathematics, add and subtract it. This is how we do, yo I came to bring the static. Anybody wanna battle? Yo, I got to come rattle these bones and kill microphones. Yeah, six feet under is where I put them in their slumber. In the end I’m gonna be No. 1, no two.”
