Raekwon‘s debut album, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, is getting the reissue treatment this month via Get On Down.
Originally released in 1995 as the third breakout solo project from The Wu-Tang Clan (following Method Man’s Tical and Ol Dirty Bastard’s Return to The 36 Chambers,) the album is produced entirely by RZA and guest-stars Ghostface Killah. It features appearances from all of the group’s members and spotlights Nas as the first non-affiliated feature on a Wu-Tang record (“Verbal Intercourse.”) The album will arrive on translucent purple wax with the first vinyl pressing of the album’s closer “North Star (Jewel,)” formerly a CD-exclusive cut, according to The Vinyl Factory.
An official date for the release has yet to be announced, but you can keep an eye on Get On Down for updates. Catch a glimpse of the packaging below and hit the link to pre-order your copy today.
