R. Kelly is facing new charges.

The singer has been hit with two new counts of sexual misconduct in connection to an incident with an underage girl in Minneapolis in 2001. The charges allege that Kelly paid an underage girl $200 to come to his hotel room.

According to the Saint Paul Pioneer Press, the two felony counts are of “engaging in, hiring, or agreeing to hire a minor to engage in prostitution.”

In docs obtained by TMZ, the accuser says Kelly gave her $200 to dance while he masturbated while rubbing her genitals. She says Kelly invited her to his concert as his guest and that she wouldn’t have been able to get in otherwise because she wasn’t 18 yet.

The woman first reported the alleged incident to cops on Jan. 11, 2019.

Kelly’s attorney Douglas Anton reportedly told TMZ, “no sexual intercourse, or penetration of any kind” between the singer and the alleged victim.

in addition to the new Minneapolis charges, Kelly also has impending federal charges in Chicago and New York, where he faces counts of sexual assault, sexual abuse, child pornography, racketeering, and more.

In response to the news, Kelly’s lawyer Steven Greenberg tweeted: “This is beyond absurd.”

Last month, Kelly’s crisis manager, Darrell Johnson, resigned following an interview with CBS This Morning.
