Q-Tip has voiced his discontent over A Tribe Called Quest's suspicious absence from this year's Grammy's nominations in a series of Instagram broadcasts and a Tweet that explicitly states "Fuck Da Grammys."
The group's co-lead and producer directed his frustrations at the voting body:Im sick of yall fuckin Grammy n****, man. Yall get us get out there to perform last year and close and shit, and yall dont get us no fucking nominations?
At one point he even brings up 9th Wonder's name, a noted member of the voting committee who's worked with Tip on several occasions, expressing his respect for the producer and all of those nominated, though he insists "this last Tribe album, this stands with everyone elses shit thats up there. I dont give a fuck.
