A version of the track without Pusha T's verse appeared on Rick Ross' Port of Miami 2 album released last night.

For fans that were looking forward to hearing Pusha T and Lil Wayne on the same track together on Rick Ross' recently-released Port of Miami 2 album, Pusha's omission from the project surely came as a surprise.

Pusha and Wayne were expected to reunite on "Maybach Music VI" after Ross had promised he'd got the feuding rappers to appear without either of them knowing about the other. But only Wayne appears on the track alongside Ross.

Some fans speculated that Push didn't let Ross keep his verse on the track after he found out Wayne was on it. But Pusha collaborator Upscale Vandal disputed that.

"This is incorrect, the verse was cleared even after Pusha was made aware of the other person in the record...sorry to burst that bubble," he tweeted.

Since the release of the album, a version of "Maybach Music VI" with both Push and Wayne has surfaced online. The former's verse is notable because it seems to address both his Drake diss "The Story of Adidon," as well as the backlash he faced because Kanye West used a picture of Whitney Houston's drug-filled bathroom as the cover art for Daytona.

"What a hell of a year, true colors exposed / Crowns on these clowns, it's like you colored they nose," Push raps at one point, the line presumably a reference to Drake.

He then raps the following elsewhere during his verse: "Sit back and let ’em draw they own conclusions / A picture’s worth a thousand words, Mr. Houston / You wonder why cocaine’s up in every song? / When music failed, cocaine righted every wrong."

Push was criticized for using the cover art by Houston's estate, as well as Bobby Brown.

"That's really disgusting that he would do that. That's in really bad taste," Brown previously said in an interview with Rolling Stone before focusing on West. "Something should happen to Kanye. He's already crazy. I knew that when I first met him. Now he’s pushing the bar a little bit. He needs somebody to slap him up or something. And I’m just the person to do it."
