The release features dozens of B-sides, remixes and 35 previously unreleased outtakes.

Following the release of the deluxe edition of Purple Rain, the Prince Estate is now prepping the release of a deluxe edition of Prince's 1999.

In a report from Variety, the deluxe release of 1999 will be made up of 5CDs/1DVD and 10LPs/1DVD and will contain "dozens of B-sides, remixes and 35 previously unreleased outtakes," as well as two full concerts from the 1999 tour. The release will also include a booklet with liner notes, rare photos and several of Prince's hand-written lyrics. The deluxe reissue comes out on November 29, 2019. It follows the deluxe edition of Purple Rain, as well as other projects that have been released since Prince's death including the intimate Piano & A Microphone 1983album and the Originalsalbum.
