An Unofficial Teaser Upload of Playboi Carti’s “Kid Cudi” Reached No. 1 On Spotify’s Viral 50 Chart

The track, also known as "Pissy Pamper" now has over 2 million streams.

An unofficial upload of a clip of Playboi Cart and Kid Cudi's forthcoming collaboration track is now viral. So viral, the upload reached no. 1 spot on Spotify's US Viral 50 Chart this week.

A clip of the song was first previewed on Instagram Live in March. The full version of the track features Young Nudy and is also known as “Pissy Pamper" went on to be leaked afterward.

Genius reports, a version of the leak titled "Kid Carti," with an altered pitch and without Nudy's verse or hook, was uploaded to Spotify under an artist credited as Lil Kambo. Despite the different It still managed to reach number one on the chart.

Two other tracks, titled “Diamonds Real” and “Make It Back,” on Lil Kambo's account also appear to be leaked Lil Uzi Vert songs.

“I first made my Spotify account to post songs that aren’t already on Spotify,” Kambo told Genius, also revealing that they're a high school student. “Before the song came out there was a snippet on YouTube and it sounded like it would be a hit if it was released. A couple weeks later the song got leaked and I posted it to my channel not thinking about how big it would get. I posted it on the Playboi Carti reddit to help the fans find the song.”

Kambo reportedly said they haven’t made any money off the song yet.

Last year, unauthorized releases from Beyoncé and SZA also briefly appeared on Spotify and other streaming services.
