Out of Nowhere, Mase Dropped a New Song Dissing Diddy

On new track “Oracle 2: The Liberation Of Mason Betha,” Mase accuses Bad Boy Records founder Diddy of exploiting The Notorious B.I.G.

Mase isn't letting up on former collaborator Diddy. Formerly on the legendary '90s Bad Boy Records roster, the rapper-turned-pastor-turned-rapper again dropped a surprise track using his birth name, “Oracle 2: The Liberation Of Mason Betha”. While fans were excited for the return of Murda Mase, on the heavily auto-tuned track, Mase disses Diddy, accusing him of exploiting The Notorious B.I.G.

“Yeah, I’m just a Harlem nigga reppin’ down a Vegas strip with my own Suge/You from Mount Vernon, nigga, go and rep your own hood/I’m not hating on your Billi worth/Right now, I’m only saying what you really work/You ain’t no architect/You just a nigga who know how to market death," Betha rapped.

While Diddy goes unnamed in the track, it's alleged that Betha's verse is about him since Diddy was raised in Mount Vernon. The track wouldn't be the first time that Bertha aired out some of his grievances towards Diddy. In a now-deleted Instagram post, Betha said that Diddy allegedly owed him $20k for publishing.

“Your past business practices knowingly has continued purposely starved your artist and been extremely unfair to the very same artist that helped u obtain that Icon Award on the iconic Bad Boy label,” he wrote. “For example, u still got my publishing from 24 years ago in which u gave me $20k. Which makes me never want to work w/ u as any artist wouldn’t.”

Betha also revealed that he offered Diddy $2 million for his masters, to which Diddy would only give in if Betha could beat the "European guy’s" offer although Diddy paid $20k for Betha's royalties over two decades ago.

“You bought it for about 20k & I offered you 2m in cash,” Betha added. “This is not black excellence at all.”

Recently, other former Bad Boy Records artists have pressed Diddy through social media, including former Making the Band winners Willie Taylor, Freddy P and Babs Bunny.

Diddy clapped back in an Instagram Story: "STOP ALL YOUR CRYING, BITCHING & MOANING. HUSTLE HARDER OR GET THE FUCK OUT OF OUR WAY. – LOVE.”
