Noname Responds to J. Cole with Madlib produced Track "Song 33"

On "Song 33," Noname responds to J. Cole's "Snow on Tha Bluff" track.

All it took was 70 seconds.

Noname has responded to J. Cole's "Snow on Tha Bluff" diss track. Noname's song is called "Song 33" and it was produced by Madlib.

The song is brief — only 70 seconds — but Noname is saying a lot. In the track she talks about everything that's happening in the world. And she wonders why, during a time like this, is J. Cole writing a song about her. In the track she spits.

"But niggas in the back quiet as a church mouse

Basement studio when duty calls to get the verse out

I guess the ego hurt now

It's time to go to work, wow, look at him go

He really 'bout to write about me when the world is in smokes?

When it's people in trees?

When George was beggin' for his mother

Saying he couldn't breathe, you thought to write about me?"

The song's chorus features Noname repeating, "One girl missin', another one go missin'

One girl missin', another one."

Shortly after it was released, Madlib showed his support by tweeting out a link to the track.

J. Cole also tweeted a link to the song. Either he's co-signing the track or it's a passive-aggressive move.

People on Twitter — including many rappers — have been critical of J. Cole's decision to drop "Snow on Tha Bluff," a song in which it seems like he goes after Noname beacuse of a tweet she sent out calling out rappers.

Give the song a list here.
