Nicki Minaj Seemingly Aims At Megan Thee Stallion on New Single "Red Ruby Da Sleeze"

On new single "Red Ruby Da Sleeze," Nicki Minaj goes after Megan Thee Stallion, who she collaborated with on 2019's "Hot Girl Summer."

Nicki Minaj allegedly goes after a couple fellow women in rap on new single "Red Ruby Da Sleeze." On the song – which samples Lumidee's 2003 hit "Never Leave You (Uh Oooh, Uh Oooh) – the Trinidadian-American rapper seemingly aims at Latto ("Who the fuck told bitches they was me now?" and Megan Thee Stallion ("700 on them horses when we fixin’ to leave/ But I don’t fuck with horses since Christopher Reeve").

Midway through the song, Minaj raps “Dorito bitches mad that they not chose," which may reference Megan's deal with the tortilla chips company. Last year, the H-Town Hottie also dropped a branded track titled "Flamin' Hottie" for a Super Bowl Flamin’ Hot Cheetos and Doritos commercial. In another line, Minaj says “That .40 cal a make ’em dance like a go-go,” which may allude to Tory Lanez allegedly shooting Megan in the foot while shouting, “Dance, bitch, dance!”

While Minaj and Latto's beef began late last year over Twitter, the Queens-raised emcee hopped on Megan's 2019 hit "Hot Girl Summer," which also features Ty Dolla $ign. The following year, Megan joined Minaj's longtime rival Cardi B for "WAP." While Megan and Minaj have since stayed mum on their relationship (or lack-thereof), their respective fanbases have fired shots at each other over the years. "Red Ruby Da Sleeze" marks Minaj's latest solo single, succeeding her 2022 No. 1 hit "Super Freaky Girl."
