Though the legendary artist has been dead— contrary to not-so-unpopular belief— for over 20 years, Tupac Shakur will be releasing more new music.
The rapper’s estate has settled a five-year-old lawsuit with Death Row Records over royalties owed to the late rapper and now at least two new Tupac albums will be released in the near future.

According to a report in The Blast, court documents show that Tupac’s estate filed documents this week stating the two sides have agreed to settle the suit. Shakur’s late mother, Afeni, filed the case against Entertainment One, which had bought Death Row a few years back, and claimed they were owed over one million dollars.
A cash settlement was reportedly made in addition to the handing over of the late artist’s unreleased recordings.
The Blast reports that there are enough master recordings for at least two new albums. There are no tentative release dates, but the music is expected to drop soon.
Tupac’s beneficiaries will be receiving a cut of the album sales, and there reportedly will be large contributions made to charities supported by Tupac and Afeni Shakur.
