Sade Will Have a New Song on the ‘A Wrinkle in Time’ Soundtrack

UPDATE: No I.D., the famed producer who has crafted tracks for Jay-Z, Kanye West, Common, and others, has produced the new Sade song. The producer took to Twitter to announce the contribution after DuVerney revealed that Sade would be appearing on the A Wrinkle in Time soundtrack.

On Tuesday morning, director Ava DuVernay went to Twitter to announce that she was gearing up to release a soundtrack for her upcoming film A Wrinkle in Time.

During the announcement Duvernay announced that Sade — yes that Sade — would have a song on the soundtrack. The song will be called “Flower of the Universe:”

This is pretty exciting news considering Sade hasn’t released an album since 2010.

DuVerney also announced other contributors to the soundtrack, this includes Demi Lovato, Sia, Kehlani, and more.
