NAV now has the no. 1 album in the country.
The Toronto rapper-producer, born Navraj Goraya, released his sophomore album, Bad Habits on March 22nd. The project, which features appearances from The Weeknd, Future, Meek Mill, Young Thug, Gunna, Lil Durk, and 88GLAM, went on to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 chart this week.
The project sold 82,000 copies, including 24,000 traditional copies, and according to Billboard, Bad Habits‘ sales were fuelled by the last-minute offering of album bundles that included early access to NAV’s upcoming concerts and a “deluxe edition” of the album.
A significant portion of the album’s sales also came from 57,000 units attributed to streams in its first week.
This is NAV’s second Billboard entry. His 2018 debut LP Reckless peaked at no. 8.
