Nas-Invested Streaming Service Sold to Viacom for $340 Million

Media giant Viacom has purchased Pluto TV, an ad-supported free streaming service with over 12 million monthly users, for $340 million in cash, according to BusinessWire.

Pluto TV is a company that Nas' Queensbridge Venture Partners invested in in 2014. Meaning, this is a good week financially for Nas. The rapper's investment company has been on a hell of a run recently. Last year, Amazon bought PillPack and Ring — two companies Nas invested in — for north of a billion dollars.
