Following up on his newest album, King's Disease, the rapper unleashes the visual to "Ultra Black."

Nas has dropped the visual for his single "Ultra Black." The release follows the drop of his new album, King's Disease. In the music video, he's surrounded by an assortment of different representations of Blackness. One appearance in the video was moving: Dapper Dan who appeared to be walking the streets of Harlem.

In another scene, Pyer Moss' Kerby Jean Raymond also appears. Overall, the notion of beauty in Blackness is made clear in the Spike Jordan-directed video.

The legendary rapper released the track nearly two weeks ago. The song, which was produced by Hit-Boy, is the first single from the rapper's upcoming album.

The album, which released last week was entirely produced by Hit-Boy. Nas made the announcement roughly two weeks ago with a very dramatic video on his Instagram.

"Ultra Black" features Nas embracing being Black — while also taking a quick dig at Doja Cat — rapping:

"Take the boat on the water, history talks with my daughter

My son will be my resurrection

Constantly learnin' lessons, I never die, you get the message?

I hope you be better than I, life's precious

Two steppin'

Sometimes I'm over-Black, even my clothes are Black

The production on the track isn't typical Hit-Boy; it's much more conservative, with the song featuring old-school, subdued production, and scratches.

King's Disease was Nas' first release since The Lost Tapes 2, which was released last year. It was his first official album since dropping Nasir with Kanye West two years ago.
