Rapaport admits when he signed on to make the film, he was unaware of the internal feuding that had characterized their disbandment and even their reunion tour, as seen in the 2011 doc. The actor goes on to explain how he'd intended to "make the movie out of love" for the group. He goes on to claim the trailer Tip reacted to was pulled from the editing room, titled Beats, Rhymes and Fights, and published online. Rapaport explains how Tip wasn't the only one who took issue with the film's depiction of the tensions in the group, but it was an unavoidable end for a film that attempted to tell the story of four men over 20 years who were known to be dysfunctional.
