“I’m Scared!” Megan Thee Stallion Reveals Why She Didn’t Tell the Police Tory Lanez Shot Her

Megan Thee Stallion went on Instagram Live and confirmed that Tory Lanez was the person who shot her.

On Thursday, August 21st, Megan Thee Stallion went on Instagram Live and confirmed that Tory Lanez was the one who shot her. During the live session, which lasted about 10 minutes, Megan said she wanted to speak up because Tory’s team — including an unnamed publicist — has been trying to muddle up the story.

During the session, Megan said:

“Yes, this nigga Tory shot me. You shot me, and you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs, lying and shit…Stop lying. Why lie? I don’t understand. I tried to keep the situation off the internet, but you’re dragging it.”

Megan revealed a lot during the streaming session. She essentially gave a full rundown of the night. Meg said there were four people in the car: she was sitting in the front, next to Tory. Her friend, Kelsey Nicole, was in the back next to his security. An argument broke out and, according to her, she left the vehicle. As she was leaving, she said, Torry shot her. She claims he shot her for no reason.

“You shot me. I didn’t get cut by no glass,” she said during the Live session.

The most jarring moment of the video came when she detailed the police coming and why she didn’t want to get them involved. Megan did not point to Tory being the shooter and she did it because she felt like telling the police would endanger her life.

“The police come, I’m scared. All this shit going on with the police…The police is shooting motherfuckers for anything. The police was literally killing Black people for no motherfucking reason.”

She continued:

“You think I’m about to tell the police that we niggas — us Black people — got a gun in the car?…You want me to tell them we got in a gun in a car so they can shoot all of us up? Nigga, I’m scared … Why the fuck would I tell [the police] somebody got a gun in this car and this nigga shot me? So I can get shot, you can shot, she can get shot, he can get shot?”

Meg also denied rumors that she was physically abusing Torry before the incident. Or that all of this happened because of jealousy over Kylie Jenner

“Motherfuckers were like, ‘Oh she’s mad ’cause he’s trying to fuck with Kylie Jenner.’ No I wasn’t…You shot me.”

Early on July 12th, police arrived outside of a Hollywood Hills residence after getting a disturbance call. Police searched the SUV and found a gun; Tory was booked for carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle, which is a felony. Megan was driven to the hospital by police.

Megan later revealed that she had to get surgery.

“I was shot in both of my feet, and I had to get surgery to get the shit taken out, get the bullets taken out, and it was super scary…It was super scary, it was just the worst experience of my life, and it’s not funny. It’s nothing to joke about and it’s nothing for y’all to go and be making fake stories about. I didn’t put my hands on nobody. I didn’t deserve to get shot.”

Earlier this week, Megan revealed the status of her feet; it was a response to those who doubted she was shot. On Wednesday evening, the Los Angeles Times reported that the L.A. County District Attorney’s office is reviewing a potential charge of felony assault with a firearm in connection with the shooting.

Tory Lanez has not responded to the claims. Nor has he been active on social media since the incident.
