"Guitar Case" is the late rapper's second unreleased track to leak in as many weeks.

Mac Miller's posthumous catalog gained yet another new addition last night.

On the one-year anniversary of the rapper's death, the track "Guitar Case" surfaced on Soundcloud. Similar to last week's leak of "Good News," the track finds Miller in a somber mode, riffing on darkness and depression over traces of twangy guitars and sparse drums.

"Guitar Case" arrived on the tail-end of a day filled with remembrances and commemorations in digital and physical spaces. Yesterday, his hometown of Pittsburgh saluted the late rapper with a pair of memorials. During the day, fans gathered at the iconic Blue Slide Park, bringing flowers and artwork to a site that lent its name to the rapper's debut studio album. At night, the Miller's longtime touring wingman, ClockworkDJ, threw a memorial show in honor of the rapper.

On social media, there was an outpouring of tributes and memories shared by close friends and collaborators. Thundercat was in a particularly sentimental mood, sharing the story behind surprising Mac at his now superlative Tiny Desk Concert performance for NPR and the changes he inspired in life and after death.
