The Obamas share a seasonal sequence.

Curator-in-chief, Barack Obama, is on a roll.

PLAYLIST: Okayplayer’s Songs of Summer 2019

Earlier this week, the former president shared a list of reading recommendations. And now, he’s returned with yet another summer playlist. In an Instagram post, Obama passed on his “sampling of what Michelle and I have been listening to,” featuring 40+ cuts from Anderson . Paak, Jill Scott, Lizzo, Ty Dolla $ign, Q-Tip, Frank Sinatra, Raphael Saadiq and so many more. The Obamas’ playlist game has been strong since even before they left the White House, sharing a Valentine’s Day sequence last year, along with a two-part summer 2016 playlist, featuring “daytime” and “nighttime” editions.

And if you’re keen on the idea of post-presidential, playlist-pushing Obama, a recent deal with Spotify could make that a more regular occurrence. Pair that with a slate of upcoming documentaries for Netflix and The Obamas are kinda killing this whole streaming thing.

PLAYLIST: The Round-Up: Best Songs of The Week – ft. Raphael Saadiq, Little Brother, Rapsody and More

You can hear Obama’s selections in an actual playlist via Pitchfork below. Hold tight for their next transmission.
