Redman’s long-awaited sequel to his 1996 classic Muddy Waters is coming soon. We think.
The legendary rapper has just released a new song; The track is simply called “Ya,” and features Redman rapping over a boom-bap beat courtesy of Mike & Keys from Futuristikz.
On the track redman spits lines like
I sweat & bleed gorilla DNA, banana clips
I serve ’em entrée, I’m in the jungle
Like Nas brother.
This track, alongside, “I Love Hip-Hop, will appear on Redman’s upcoming Muddy Waters Too album. The LP is the sequel to Muddy Waters, one of the greatest rap albums of the ’90s. And it’s an album Redman has been talking about making for a while now.
