Immediately after the mixtape arrived on streaming services, fans noticed it only included 12 tracks.

Lil Wayne’s No Ceilings mixtape dropped Thursday night on streaming platforms. 

Though this is a major win for Wayne fans, the release only features 12 tracks rather than 21. Immediately after it became available to stream, fans began sharing how upset they were that the entire tape wasn’t accessible. Some even reminisced about the cultural significance of DatPiff since all the tracks are still on the site. 

Released originally in 2009 the mixtape was one of the industry’s most respected projects. No Ceilings featured the New Orleans bred rapper taking control of a variety of beats popular in 2009. It was equipped with features by Nicki Minaj, Tyga and a few Young Money affiliates: Mack Maine, Gudda Gudda, and Shanell.

Staple tracks on No Ceilings included Gucci Mane’s “I Think I Love Her” and “Wasted,” Fast Life Yungstaz “Swag Surfin,” Jay-Z’s “D.O.A. Death of Auto-Tune,” Beyoncé's “Sweet Dreams.” Fabolous’ “Throw It In The Bag” is a personal favorite and so is Twista’s “Wetter.” We can’t forget Waka Flocka Flame’s “Oh Let’s Do It.” 

Overall, the mixtape proved Wayne’s versatility, whether you were in college or still in high school, it was well-received. When DatPiff reigned the Internet it was a one-stop shop for releases by artists like Drake, Trey Songz, and more.

A few weeks back, Lil Wayne shared that Tha Carter 6 would be arriving soon during an appearance on ESPN. He also said No Ceilings 3 would come first.
