Lil Baby, Pusha T & More to Perform At Hot 97’s Summer Jam 2022

On Friday, the Hot 97 Summer Jam lineup was announced, with performances from Lil Baby, Pusha T, City Girls, Benny The Butcher and more.

The Hot 97 Summer Jam lineup has been revealed. On June 12th, the performance will be held at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey with performers including Lil Baby, Pusha T, Lil Dirk, Young Thug, Gunna, City Girls, Burna Boy and more.

At the single-day concert, Burna Boy will make his East Coast return after headlining his first Madison Square Garden performance last night. On Friday, fellow headliner Lil Baby released new single “Frozen,” acknowledging its leak last year. “I Hate This Song Got Leaked But This Bitch So Hard I Still Dropped It,” he wrote on Instagram.

The Summer Jam concert will also feature a tribute to DJ Kay Slay, who died earlier this month. Earlier this week, a funeral for the legendary DJ was held, with appearances from LL Cool J, Fat Joe, Remy Ma, Papoose, Busta Rhymes and more.

Pete Nice spoke with HipHopDX following the service.

“Rest in peace my brother Kay Slay,” he said. “You were Hip Hop. People don’t even realize the work you put in as DJ Kay-Gee in ’83 with the Dollar Bill Crew while you were writing. They don’t know how you were sneaking into Flash and the 3 MCs jams in 1978 when you were 11 or 12. Beyond those early days, you went on to have one of the most impactful careers in the history of Hip Hop. Over 40 years of work, memories and music. You will never be forgotten.”

Presale tickets to the Summer Jam concert are available now. General tickets go on sale Saturday, April 30th on Ticketmaster and the concert’s official website.
