Hear Kweku Saunderson’s New Single “Checkin'” ft. Dai Burger and Woodro

Though his remix album of Frank Ocean‘s Blond(e) has since disappeared from the internets, we won’t soon forget the house-inflected upgrade Kweku Saunderson delivered. Following in the steps of his uncle, legendary Chicago house pioneer Kevin Saunderson, Kweku’s touch is a tad electric, and it’s on full-display on his new single “Checkin'” featuring Dai Burger and Woodro. Departing from the frantic pace of his recalibration record, Saunderson dips into warmer r&b by way of minimalist and electric dancehall. Hear Kweku Saunderson’s “Checkin'” along with all of the week’s best offerings in The Round-Up below. Head over to his Soundcloud page to get properly acquainted.
