London singer/songwriter King Krule has returned with a new project. His latest effort, Man Alive!, features 14 all-new tracks. It's his first release since 2017's The Ooz.

More recently, the artist and producer born Archy Marshall shared four new songs and a short film called Hey World! The film was directed by photographer Charlotte Patmore, Marshall's girlfriend. In March 2019, the two welcomed a baby girl, Marina Marshall. Shortly afterward, he began to increase his musical output. Additionally, Marshall will tour the United Kingdom and North America this spring. The tour closes out on April 24 in Brooklyn at Kings Theatre.

In recent years, King Krule has branched out into multiple sounds and mediums. He's also assumed a handful of additional stage names to go along with each. In 2016, he debuted as Edgar the Beatmaker for a DJ set on Boiler Room TV. Originally, he released songs going by the name of Zoo Kid. In an NPR interview, he explained that the change in stage name corresponds with the change in genre. Critics have described his style as punk jazz, jazz fusion, "Bluewave," darkwave, and post-punk thus far.

In January, Marshall announced the impending release of Man Alive! He then went on to release two singles, "(Don't Let the Dragon) Draag On" and "Cellular."
