Kendrick Lamar & Taylour Paige's "We Cry Together" Had the Biggest Single Week Drop in Billboard History

Debuting at No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, Kendrick Lamar and Taylour Paige collaboration "We Cry Together" has dropped to No. 97.

Kendrick Lamarhas broke Billboard history, but probably not in a way that he intended. His "We Cry Together" collaboration with actress Taylour Paige from new album Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers has fallen on the Billboard Hot 100 to No. 97 after debuting at No. 16.

Despite the song dropping 87 spots on the chart, all 18 tracks from Lamar's fifth studio album are currently on the Billboard Hot 100. However, like "We Cry Together," lead singles "N95" and "Silent Hill," have also seen significant drops on the chart, going from No. 3 to No. 17 and No. 7 to No. 49, respectively.

Taylour Paige, who's starred in Zola and Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, has teased that a music video "We Cry Together" is on the way.

Despite the song's decline on the Billboard Hot 100, Lamar is soldiering on, as Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, with 295,500 equivalent album units in its first week. The album currently holds the top spot for the largest selling week of any album this year, defeating Bad Bunny who the No. 1 title for one week with his fourth album Un Verano Sin Ti with 274,000 equivalent album units.

Next month, Lamar will co-headline Rolling Loud Miami at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens with Ye and Future before embarking on The Big Steppers Tour with fellow pgLang acts Baby Keem and Tanna Leone. Tickets for The Big Steppers Tour are available now.
