Kanye West is trying to say…something

On Saturday, Kanye West will release his ninth studio album, Yandhi. This will be the second solo album released by West this year. The rapper/producer is starting to do his media rounds.

On Thursday, September 7th, Kanye West showed up at The FADER offices in New York City. Andy Cohn, the president and publisher of The FADER, put up a picture on his Twitter account.

What stands out right away is the fact Kanye is wearing Donald Trump’s infamous Make America Great Again hat with a Colin Kaepernick sweater. (Trump has criticized Colin Kaepernick in the past.)

TeamKanyeDaily also posted this video that Jason Peterson took. Kanye explains how he has ownership of the hat:

It’s an, uh, interesting message that Kanye is trying to send. As soon as the photo was released, there was some grumbling around Twitter:

Are yall excited for Kanye’s new album? It comes out the same weekend as Lil Wayne’s long-awaited Tha Carter V album. Kanye West is already anticipating he will be number two on the charts.
