A video has surfaced of Kanye West and T.I. debating politics as well as working on the former's pro-Donald Trump track "Ye vs. the People."

"Me putting the hat on forces the evolution...I'm getting this energy, positive or negative, agreeing with me or disagreeing me...that's like sharpens the diamond and s**t," West says in the video. "Our mind, our consciousness, the way we're thinking, just breaking some s**t."

"Your intentions from you tell me are pure but the direction you took to get there is a bit unorthodox, and what some people would say, thoughtless," T.I. replies.

West continues to justify his wearing Trump's "Make America Great Again" hat, which he has been seen wearing in a photo he put on his Twitter account.

"When I wear that hat it's like a fight for equality," West says. "Like, 'Oh I can wear that hat too.'"

"I just want you to consider all the people who might be terribly torn apart and hurt," T.I. responds.

The video then shows the two rappers working on "Ye vs. the People."

Although the track has yet to officially drop, it premiered last week on Los Angeles radio station Power 106.

"I know Obama was Heaven sent, but ever since Trump won, it proved that I could be president," West opens up the song with. He then goes on to rap: "Make America Great Again had a negative reception. I took it, wore it, rocked it gave it a new direction. Added empathy, care and love and affection, and y'all simply questionin' my methods."
