Kanye West Makes A Rare Appearance At Kid Cudi’s Concert For All-Star Weekend Event
The crowd at 747 Warehouse St. were treated to another rare onstage appearance from Lord Kanye West, as he performed a classic cut during Kid Cudi’s concert.
Saturday, Feb. 17, the NBA All-Star Weekend going public has had events to go to such as the Skills Challenge and the NBA Celebrity All-Star Game. But nothing was like seeing Kid Cudi being joined onstage by the legendary icon of modern-day hip-hop, Kanye West. During his concert at an Adidas event at their 747 Warehouse St., Cudi and Yeezy stood for raucous applause as the latter performed “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1”.
West also introduced Cudi, but wasn’t listed among the scheduled performers for the two-day all-star event tied to the NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles.
The two-minute cameo from Kanye Tudda comes four months after West made his last onstage appearance, where the rapper again dropped by a Kid Cudi concert to perform that same Life of Pablo cut. That November 2017 visit marked West’s return to the stage in nearly a year. Prior to that he was onstage at Nov. 19, 2016, the site where he not only arrived 90 minutes late, but only performed for 15 minutes before going on a long rant that lashed out at Jay-Z and Beyoncé.
After that, West canceled the remainder of his Saint Pablo tour, and recently settled a $10 million lawsuit with the insurer of the nixed trek earlier last week.
