Stream Jon Hope's “Ode To Black Survival” New Project ‘Savage Beauty’
Jon Hope’s Savage Beauty, six-track EP, features production by Bongo By The Way and an appearance from the artist Millyz.
Jon Hope and Grammy-winning producer Bongo By The Way are in sync over this six-track EP, Savage Beauty track, which may be short but has a lot to offer. The Providence, Rhode Island original is the son of a West African mother whose lyrical capabilities have found him in front of people in a major way.
Inspired by the events that have plagued our country before and since the 2016 presidential elections, Savage Beauty is a collection of experiences and moments of survival from the black community. Despite his family having no musical lineage, Jon’s penchant for the pen and passion for the culture has led him to traveling the globe, sharing stages with Wiz Khalifa and studio sessions with J. Cole.
Much like Killmonger or your most cherished revolutionary, Jon Hope has a message for the people that resonates with those who have gone through the tough times, survived, and continue to strive for greatness. “‘Savage Beauty’ is a sign of the times,” Jon Hope said in a released statement. “The way of the world has blurred the lines of good and evil. It’s like in order to attain certain goals and advance, purity is thrown out the window.”
