We chopped it up with Jidenna to talk growing up in a Nigerian household, working with 2 Chainz, inclusion & more.
Last month, Jidenna released his sophomore album, 85 to Africa. The concept for the album is simple: what are the songs you would want to hear on a long-ass road trip? So, this goes from trap to Afro-soul to Afro Beats.
So, for this album, Jidenna is going from the United States to his roots: Nigeria.
While promoting his latest album, Jidenna dropped by the Okay Space for an in-depth interview. In our latest episode of Moments With, we talked to Jidenna about the making of 85 to Africa, the role 2 Chainz played in the development of the album, cancel culture, and more.
