It’s been a minute since we last caught up with Jessie Ware. The “Kind Of, Sometimes, Maybe” singer released her last album Tough Love all the way back in 2014, taking some time off to bring a child into the world.
This morning, Ware stormed back onto the scene with the Annie Mac premiere of “Midnight,” a stunningly soulful new single of an upcoming 2017 project. Flipping between piercing ballad and stand-face-inducing stomper, Ware’s vox floats and roars as needed, stealing the show on a very “Rich Kids” meets “Little Red Corvette” r&b romp that’s brimming with confidence and cool.
Hear Jessie Ware’s buoyant new single down below and scroll on for her upcoming tour dates. Check back for updates on the still untitled album in the weeks and months ahead.
