Before performing “Love Yourself,” Cole delivered an emotional speech, saying:

“As you grow up, you go through some traumatic shit…You leave it alone and you ignore it, and before you know it, you’re 20 fucking years old and you’re walking around with all this shit that’s accumulated. Every day, Vegas, people die…. And they never got a chance to deal with their shit…. I’m not trying to wait till I die to deal with my shit. I’m trying to deal with my shit right fuckin’ now.”

Here is the video of the touching moment:

J. Cole, who produced “Hurt Feelings” on Mac’s last album, Swimming, sent out a couple of tweets about the rapper right after the news broke:

J. Cole wasn’ t the only artist to dedicate their show to Mac Miller. During a performance on Saturday night, John dedicated his performance of “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me to Mac:”

On Friday night, G-Eazy got emotional before performing “Everything Will Be OK,” saying “I swear, life is so fucking fragile. Appreciate the moment, be present in it, tell people you love you care about them.”
