Janet Jackson Will Receive MTV’s Global Icon Honor

Congrats, Ms. Jackson.

Janet Jackson will be awarded MTV’s Global Icon honor at the upcoming European Music Awards in Spain on November 4.

The legendary entertainer will also reportedly perform a medley of her greatest hits during the show.

Earlier this month, Janet Jackson was nominated for induction to the 2019 Rock Hall of Fame.

Jackson’s new single, “Made For Now” featuring Daddy Yankee peaked at no. 1 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart.

The song marked her first release since 2016.

In September, Jackson headlined Global Citizens Festival in New York City.
