The return of the remix campaign?

Before any of us knew that this whole dvsn thing would amount to something more than an EP of godly r&b, the yet to be unmasked duo of producer Nineteen85 and singer Daniel Daley tested their spirited palette with a grip of remixes.

They’d bring a purple hue to beloved r&b artifacts like Aaliyah’s “One in a Million” and Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On,” and turned in a recalibrated version of Frank Ocean’s “Godspeed” just weeks after the arrival of blond(e)d. Now, with both their debut and sophomore projects out of the way, the OVO team is back with a fresh batch of reworks, debuting remixes of Roy Woods’ “Don’t Choose,” Justin Bieber’s “Friends” and SZA’s “The Weekend” on this past weekend’s edition of OVO Radio.
