Governors Ball Pulls BROCKHAMPTON Set, Replaces With Pusha T
Amid sexual misconduct allegations, BROCKHAMPTON has canceled the remainder of their tour dates. Their slot at Governors Ball has been given to Pusha T.
Fresh off the online presses, Governors Ball has replaced embattled rap group BROCKHAMPTON from their bill and replaced the time slot with Pusha T. The changeover comes after founding member, Ameer Vann, was ousted amid sexual misconduct allegations, and BH canceled the remainder of their tour dates to “regroup.”

“We are excited to announce that @KingPush will now be playing the American Eagle stage at 5:45 p.m. Saturday night! BROCKHAMPTON will no longer be playing the festival this weekend,” read the statement on Governors Ball’s Twitter and Instagram pages.
Pusha T, the president of G.O.O.D. Music and rap star who is embroiled in a war of words with Drake, has recently released his new album Daytona, and features appearances from Kanye West and Rick Ross. The seven-track album was lauded by those inside and out of hip-hop, but when “Infrared,” the last song on the project, felt a less-than-24-hours response from Drake, the crowd have placed King Push on the clock for a response.
Will this happen at this weekend’s Governors Ball? We’ll be on hand to tell you in real-time, so follow us @Okayplayer to stay in tune.
Governors Ball will take place from June 1-3 at Randall’s Island Park in New York City.
