The blond(e)d bredren come to an amicable agreement

Frank Ocean and Om'Mas Keith appeared to be on the outs last year when Ocean sued his longtime producer for claiming he was snubbed on the blonde credit list. Keith claimed he'd earned co-writing credits for a majority of the songs on the 2016 album and filed his own suit for unpaid royalties, while Ocean maintained that he paid the producer a flat rate on a work-for-hire agreement. But it seems the collaborators have finally arrived at a mutually agreed upon settlement.

According to The Blast, both suits have now been dropped after both parties reached a "negotiated settlement executed by them." Both Ocean and Keith will pay for their own legal fees as the case comes to a close after nearly a year of litigatory warfare. Ocean's other 2016 project, Endless, released the day before blonde as an Apple-exclusive visual album that fulfilled his Def Jam contract, will reportedly arrive on all digital streaming platforms in the weeks ahead. It was originally set to arrive on January 25th, but has been delayed for unspecified reasons, according to Billboard.
