FKA twigs is back.
The British singer-songwriter just released her new music video for the single “Cellophane.” The release comes after a four-year hiatus on solo material.
In the stunning visual conceptualized by twigs and directed by Andrew Thomas Huang, she appears on a secluded golden stage and proceeds to pole dance.

Twigs shared a statement on Instagram Tuesday leading up to the video’s release, writing, “throughout my life I’ve practiced my way to being the best I could be, it didn’t work this time. I had to tear down every process I’d ever relied on. go deeper. rebuild. start again.”
Upon the visual’s release, she captioned a post, “when I wrote cellophane over a year ago a visual narrative came to me immediately, I knew I had to learn how to pole-dance to bring it to life, and so that’s what I did.”
