Ahead of her birthday, Erykah Badu and her daughter Puma Sabti Curry graced Good Morning Texas with a duet performance last Friday.
The two performed a rendition of Badu’s classic song “Time's A Wastin” from her album Mama’s Gun mixed with Moonchild’s “All The Joy.” It’s no secret that Puma is a budding singer, there have been a few videos of her singing that have gone viral in the recent past. In the latest clip, she shines alongside her mother, they make a perfect duo.
BET reports that during her appearance on Good Morning Texas, Badu also spoke about motherhood and previewed a few of her new products. The goods dropped on her newly launched storefront Badu’s World Market.
One product, in particular, sold out even after a second restock, her vagina fragrance titled “Badu Premium Pussy Incense.” The website reads it was created with “the ashes of Badu’s underwear. Pure resin, handmade, sun dried. Also created with essential oils and herbs.”
If you missed out on the incense, she has already shared that she’ll be releasing additional fragrances named after other songs. Her online storefront, called Badu World Market, is also filled with hoodies, shirts and vinyls of her critically acclaimed albums.
Last year, Badu told InStyle in an interview that she created the online store to “encourage networking among smaller brands and prestigious art houses. It’s a hub to share space with all people.”
