For nearly three years now, Soul In The Horn has brought true notes from around the world to NYC and various hubs of cultural plurality throughout the states. Reaching institution status, the weekly show with resident DJ Natasha Diggs and curator D Prosper has been blessed by appearances from hip-hop, jazz and r&b’s who’s who over an illustrious tenure in downtown NYC — Kamasi Washington, Bilal, Anderson .Paak, DJ Premier, DJ Spinna, Pete Rock to name a few — but the big guns are coming out to celebrate the party’s third anniversary.
Next Wednesday, August 9th, DJ Low Down Loretta Brown aka Erykah Badu and Rashad “Ringo” Smith will join Diggs and at The Highline Ballroom to wish Soul In The Horn a happy third rotation. Best of all, however, the celebration is free-ninety-nine with RSVP, which you can submit via the link below. We suggest getting there a little ahead of the 11:30pm start, as the venue will likely reach capacity in a hurry. Needless to say, you won’t want to miss it. A Soul In The Horn mixtape will be dropping come September to accompany the anniversary . Keep your eyes on us and your ears to the ground for more on that front in the weeks ahead.
