Dreezy, 6LACK & Kodak Black Are Ready To Throw Hands With Trump In “Spar” Video
Chicago’s own Dreezy puts on for Colin Kaepernick, Sandra Bland, #BlackLivesMatter and more in the politically-charged video for “Spar”.
Dreezy should be no stranger to any real audiophiles’ playlist, as the Chicago native has continually dropped heat since No Hard Feelings since 2016. Today, her latest and greatest is the politically-super-charged video for “Spar,” which features 6LACK and Kodak Black. Squaring up and ready to squab with President Donald Trump on the song and in real life, Dreezy and her cohorts tackle the racial issues in America.
“This can’t be ‘Land of the Free’ / If kneeling might cost your position,” Dreezy raps. “I’m supposed to respect the system / They call our brothers, ‘Sons of Bitches’ / And when my Unc came home from prison / For the same shit y’all tried to turn into a business / Take our culture, our blueprint / Pay the knock off to come model us / Hurricanes come and swallow us / We pourin’ Henny, ‘cause we all bottled up / Granny said, ‘Scratch ya’ lottos up’ / But the bible says it goes full circle,” she raps in what is a replayable and tweetable verse to close out on hellish of a 2017 year.
Created by Tristan Zammit, “Spar” highlights such huge stories as Sandra Bland’s murder in a Texas jail cell, the white terrorist rallies in Charlottesville and the #TakeAKnee controversy with Colin Kaepernick. Spare a few seconds, press play on this video and share with a friend, as “Spar” is a must-see-TV-esque record in Dreezy’s growing catalog.
