Drake’s fifth studio album, Scorpion, is holding onto the No. 1 slot for its fourth week on the Billboard 200 chart now, making it the album with the most weeks at the top of the list in 2018.

The rapper beat Post Malone‘s three-week run for beerbongs & bentleys in May. The last album to spend four straight weeks at No. 1 was The Weeknd‘s Starboy from January 21 to February 11 in 2017. Scorpion is the first album to spend its opening four weeks at No. 1 since 2016, when Drake’s last album Views peaked at the top of the Billboard 200 chart for nine consecutive weeks.
At 25 weeks total at No. 1 in his career, Drake now ties Jay-Z for the second-most weeks at No. 1 among rappers. Eminem currently has the most total weeks at No. 1 out of any rapper with 32.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on different metrics measured in equivalent album units. Units can be comprised of traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA).
